summer in a nutshell

summer has been awesome....it was pretty relaxing at first..and then it was time to pack for salamanca spain where i was to live for a month.  salamanca was an amazing time, i had so much fun with everyone on the trip. the sights were beautiful, we went to lisbon, portugal, to segovia, toledo, granada, sevilla, avila, torremolinos, costa del sol.... cathedrals were massive and breath taking to look at. we watched a bullfight, ate paella, drank sangria, danced to 80's/90's american songs, tried ox and gazpacho, travelled on a bus for 7 hours, experienced staying out until 6 am and feeling incredibly sicck the next day..night life in salamanca was the best - gatsby, camelot, the irish rover, jacko's, destroy, garamond, chupeteria.....lots of fun. there are also many memorable quotes from all, especially liz- pretty much the funniest person, ever.  theres just so much more to say about spain, but too much to type out

now i'm back, and i've been sick since madrid.....i had conjunctivitis and had to miss 3 days of my internship job. i was really upset about that. where i'm interning in jamaica plain, is called the Italian Home for Children Boston Center. Its a place for children who mostly have mental disorders, who've had a history of trauma in their life, who need a place to live and the Italian home provides shelter, and support/therapy. i'm shadowing a clinician, shes really cool, and i'm getting a really good experience

school in like 20 days! aahh! i love wheeler and umassers but i'm really dreading classes

alright time to peace out
